Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE (born Andrea Jane Corr) is an actress, singer, songwriter and musician from Ireland. Corr together her fellow members Caroline Sharon and Jim, began their career in the role of The Corrs' lead singer in the year 1990. Andrea Corr, an Irish singer, musician and songwriter is one of the Corrs. She received an award called the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award and is most well-known for being an integral member of the Celtic rock and pop group The Corrs. She is a musician on a range of instruments, and sings of The Corrs. Beginning her acting career in 1991 Andrea then became a talented musician and a stage artist. Andrea was voiced by the character of The Quest for Camelot, a Warner Bros. cartoon film that was released in 1998. Six studio albums, two compilation albums, two live albums and one remix album under her belt, Andrea is firmly established as a multi-faceted artist. Her efforts to help others have received recognition. Andrea is married with two children to her stockbroker. Andrea's first music lesson was to learn the Tin horn. Andrea also learned to play piano under the tutelage of Gerry. Andrea can play the Ukulele. Her teenage years were spent polishing her music abilities. She started by singing with her brothers and sisters before becoming the lead singer in the group. Andrea went to 'Dun Lughaidh Convent as a child and frequently took part in school performances.
